Our Scandinavian client - A major Telecom player ,and its Fiber unit is looking for enthusiastic and skilled Senior Project Managers to help roll out country vide Fiber connection
The Fiber unit, is one of the strategic programs across the company Group. They are a a strong, dynamic and passionate team of program and projects managers, IT architects and specialist and the mission is to support the fiber strategy of building fiber for all of the country
Tasks & Responsibilities
Your primary responsibilities will be to end-to-end own, drive and successfully execute on our portfolio of projects during our Fiber Lab program. You will be working in close cooperation with your team in an agile, incremental context, where focus is kept on delivering high-quality content and reaching our ambitious goals. You will be responsible for IT deliverables that support benefit realization on portfolio investments (Fiber Lab) as well as working with KPIs and fulfillment. Very good understanding of TelCo Network Operator business, including analysis of business needs and linking business requirements with possible IT solutions, will be part of your work.
A considerable part of the job will be to ensure alignment with your different internal and external stakeholders at any time. Removing impediments or guiding the team to remove impediments. You should have a good ability to communicate, report and align across different layers from project team members to our executives. Managing multicultural teams will be part of your daily operations.
Key Tasks
Responsible for IT deliverables that support benefit realization on portfolio investments
Responsible for stakeholder management and ensure that senior management are satisfied with their IT deliveries
Participate in leadership meetings, stand-ups, portfolio/project status meetings, steering committee
Ensure proper master data updates and project reporting is ready on demand
Define project objectives, scope and success criteria
Assess expected business value – when and how to measure
Resource estimation and control (people, cost, time)
Establish and lead project team
Report to steering committee and other governance units
Skills And Competencies
You come with experiences in the Telecommunications industry, are well-versed with the TelCo Network Operator business processes and have strong understanding of TM Forum Frameworks and best practices, ex, BPMN, eTOM, Shared Information Data Model (SID).
You are highly skilled with proven results in successful project management and possess a solid content knowledge and experience in telecommunication and IT. It is important that you have a very good business understanding and at the same time a structural and analytic approach. You are used to work with the balancing of managing both waterfall and agile approaches and experienced in the use of Confluence and Jira is a plus.
You are expected to have a solid academic background, preferably supported by project management certification (e.g. Prince2, SAFe, PMP, IPMA). However, most importantly are both your drive and willingness to join our digital journey.
You have an overall 12-15 years of work experience, including 5-7 years of IT Project Management and TelCo industry experience.
As a person you are result oriented, communicative, a team player, flexible, involving and encouraging, in order to be able to motivate and inspire your team to success. You are focusing on efficient delivery management and financial steering.
